DSI’s commitment to providing high quality care applies to all aspects of a facility. We oversee the operation of:
• Staff Training - Procedures are recommended to comprehensively screen and train new staff. Ongoing staff training, as needed, is proposed to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Staff Programs - Functions are promoted to recognize and show staff appreciation. Training forums targeted to different disciplines are recommended to provide the opportunity to interact and share information in an informal setting.
• Resident Programs – Functions are promoted to celebrate accomplishments, to show appreciation, to promote a positive environment, and to foster social interaction.
• Resident and Staff Opinion Surveys– Comprehensive periodic surveys are recommended to gauge how well the job is being done and to identify issues that may need resolution.
• Facilities Maintenance – Trained maintenance staff are well versed in maintaining facilities to the highest standards and provide a safe and comfortable environment while adhering to current code requirements.
